It was very interesting to see the life along the passageway.  The water was very low and very muddy.  We had to slow down as we passed other boats as  the mud was flying off the motors. We finally came to the lake and saw the floating houses.  We went alongside a boat where the people were waiting for the fishermen to bring them fish to sell at the market.  While we waited there, a covered boat showed up.  It was the floating cafe.  It brought coffee and food to the floating houseboats.  It was funny because there were chickens on top of the roof.  We waited there for a while but nothing was going on so the boat pilot took us for a tour around a lot of the floating houses.  Here are a few photos:
