We visited a hundred year old wooden house before we saw the fruit bats.  The owner and his mom came out when we drove up.  The owner invited Shawn and myself into the house.  I guessed he was going to give us a tour.  He spoke in English but was very hard to understand.  We went from room to room.  He showed us his family pictures on the wall.  It all seemed sparsely furnished and when you looked down you could see between the floor boards.  At he end of the tour, he led us to the tip box and the visitor book.  I think they might live some place else and just come to give tours as it didn’t look like anyone actually lived there.

This is called a spiritual house that every Buddhist home has. I liked this one as most I saw were very ornate with a lot more gold.
