We spent part of our afternoon at the Azalea Park.  It is a lovely area with picnic tables and well-worn paths and many varieties of flowers, bushes and plants.  However, it was not the season for azaleas to bloom, so we didn’t see any. They must be very beautiful in the spring as they are extremely tall bushes covered in blooms.  Some of the bushes are more than 100 years old! We did however, see a lot of other plants in bloom.  If you like flowers you will enjoy this post.

This was a very stately fir tree and you can see the fog in the background.

Cute little bird houses
Beautiful red and white Fuchsia.

Loved the purple and yellow leaves standing together.
Not sure the kind of conifer tree, but it was so pretty with its branches swooping downwards.

Metal statue of children holding hands.
